“He was a bubbly lad and made a good situation out of anything.”

Some of those who have shared their tributes to Will with The Scarborough News have described him as a “hero”, “one of a kind” and “always laughing and smiling”.

One friend said: “He was the most, and always will be, the funniest, outgoing man ever.”

“I could ring him any time of the day and he’d help me any way he could. He never failed to make me and us all laugh,” said one friend.

“He’d turn a bad day into the best day before you even had chance to moan,” said another.

One friend said: “Words don’t even come close to describing what such a lovely young lad Will was, and the heartbreak caused by him passing away.”

And another said: “My heart is aching. He was our family.

“He put everyone else first before himself. He always promised he would look after all of us and he did that every single time.

“We have lost such a valuable, loved friend and no one will ever come close to replacing him.”
