Helmsley’s imposing Feversham Memorial ‘in need of restoration work’
An in-depth survey carried out by Ian Hayton of architects Ferrey and Mennim has revealed that the memorial and the white marble statue of the 2nd Baron Feversham, needs specialist work as a result of extensive weather damage over the years.
Intricate carvings have been badly damaged by rain and plant growth and birds nests.

The town council is now to seek costings for carrying out the renovation work on both monuments.
