Thalia suffered from restrictive cardiomyopathy - a rare condition which meant she needed a new heart and lungs. Sadly she passed away before a donor could be found. A celebration of her life was held at St Mary's Church on Monday, and people were also invited to the family's beach chalet. The family granted permission to The Scarborough News to take these photos. Donations from the day will go to Martin House Hospice. Donations can also be made here.
