The hospice is close the hearts of the team, as Emma, the beloved daughter Dawn and David Bottomley, who work at Karro, passed away at Saint Catherine’s last year, aged just 26.

Earlier this year, staff held a bake sale as Dawn is a keen baker and has even featured on The Great British Bake Off – An Extra Slice.

What started as a one-off will now become a regular event and Karro will also be holding dress-down days as well as other fundraising activities later in the year.

Since January, the team has raised £988.17.

Lauren Dineley, human resources manager at Karro, said “Saint Catherine’s provides vital support to families in our local community and as an organisation Karro is proud to support such a worthwhile cause which is so close to our hearts.”
