Marked police car and Audi crash on A64 Seamer bypass near Scarborough

The accident happened at 6.30pm on Sunday on the A64 Seamer Bypass and involved a white Audi A4 and a silver Vauxhall Antara marked police vehicle.

Damage was caused to both vehicles and the female police officer driving the Vauxhall required a hospital assessment for a minor injury to her neck.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who remembers seeing the vehicles before the crash to get in touch as soon as possible.
