Police are looking to speak to this man about a fraud incident in Scarborough.

Officers believe Radu Gustea, also known as Radu Rostas and Radu Anghel, 34, from Rotherham, may have information about two fraud incidents in Northallerton and Scarborough that took place earlier this year.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We need to speak to him about two fraud incidents known as “ringing the changes” at shops in Northallerton and Scarborough earlier this year.

"This is where a suspect tries to confuse shop staff and uses sleight of hand to defraud the shop during cash transactions or deposits.

"Officers have made numerous enquiries to locate Gustea and are now asking for the public’s assistance to help trace him."

Gustea has connections in South Yorkshire, links to the wider Yorkshire region and Northumbria.
