Police warning after car left on Flamborough beach had to be saved from rising tide
Officers say people are ignoring a sign before the lifeboat site which clearly says no unauthorised vehicles are allowed.
A spokesperson for East Humberside Police said: "If you are not a member of the RNLI, crew or any other emergency vehicle then you have no reason to be in this area.

Hide Ad"This area is for the launching of the lifeboat and needs to be kept clear of any vehicle that has no authorisation to be in this area.
"You cannot launch jet skis from this area.
"Please be mindful of marine laws in this coastal area where there are conservation areas protecting wild birds and animals."
On Tuesday evening, Flamborough RNLI had to use their tractor to tow a vehicle at South Landing clear of the rising tide - which had reached the bonnet.
