Ryedale Youth Theatre moves Oliver show to October

Ryedale Youth Theatre has had to postpone this week’s production of Lionel Bart’s ‘Oliver’ following Government advice regarding the coronavirus crisis.

The run of shows, including a Saturday matinee performance, was due to take place from Wednesday, April 8 to Saturday, April 11.

The show will now take place between October 20-24 at the Milton Rooms.

A spokesman said: “We have been following the recent updates covering the coronavirus, and the latest updates from the Government and Public Health England, and have had to make the decision to postpone the show until October.

“Our members have been working so hard preparing for Oliver.

“The show will certainly go on and it will be totally amazing.

“If you have already booked tickets please be assured that all card payments will be refunded as soon as possible. Please continue to support RYT by coming to watch the show in October – it will definitely be worth the wait.”
