Scarborough cafe The Hideout hosting special event for those who struggle at Christmas

The Hideout is hosting a special event on Tuesday December 17 for those finding the festive period a struggle.

The cafe, on Columbus Ravine, which opened earlier this year, will open its doors for the ‘Christmas is for Everyone!’ event between 4pm and 6pm.

Hideout manager Jordan Padgham said: ”At The Hideout we believe Christmas is for everyone, so we will be open on Tuesday December 17 between 4pm and 6pm especially for those finding Christmas a struggle.

“We’ll be giving out homemade soup, bread, hot drinks and tray bakes on us. Any food donations welcome.”

The cafe will be open as usual to their regular customers during the day.
