Scarborough College use drone footage to thank NHS

Scarborough College has come up with an innovative way to thank the NHS.

The school's groundsman Ian Thomspon created a message on the sport's field and a drone was flown over the top to record it.

The footage show a giant 'Thank you NHS' written on the gradd.

Headmaster, Mr Guy Emmett, said: "Each day we come into school and welcome our key worker children as their parents go to work.

"Our school nurse, Linda Pinkney, has also been volunteering on the frontline.

"We just wanted to find a unique way to say thank you to them and their colleagues.

"They are doing so much to protect us all.

"This, combined with the banners at the front of the school, was our small way of saying we are grateful.

"They are true heroes to us all."
