Scarborough Hall says a fond farewell to housekeeper Pam

After 10 years of service at Scarborough Hall, much-loved housekeeper Pam Bayes has decided to retire.

Staff and residents at the home sent Pam off in style with prosecco, flowers and presents to thank her for many years of dedication.

Everyone at the home has very fond memories of Pam and she will be sadly missed.

During her time at the hall, Pam has worked in both care and housekeeping roles. She enjoyed both roles very much and was a valued team member.

Pam said: “Scarborough Hall is like a family to me and though I’m looking forward to retirement, I’m really going to miss everyone here so much.”

Charlotte Nurse, general manager at the care home, said: “Pam is one of those people who was born to care for others – she has such a huge heart and was greatly loved by the individuals living here.

“She was an inspiration to her colleagues and we will all miss her. We wish her all the best.”
