To mark Remembrance weekend, runners from Scarborough Athletic Club's Walk to Run Group completed a run from The Hideout café on Columbus Ravine to the Toll House and back again.

The run was followed by chilli, rice and cake, provided by The Hideout.

Hideout manager Jordan Padgham said: “We were very pleased to welcome runners from the Walk to Run Group to support a great cause.

“It was a very successful event, with a lovely atmosphere and we were delighted to hand over a cheque for £215 to the British Legion afterwards.”

Entrants paid £5 a head and a total of £215 was raised for the Royal British Legion.
