Woman suffers suspected broken ankle at Dalby Forest

An injured woman had to be carried to an ambulance by Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team yesterday.

The volunteers were called out to Lower Bridestones at 4.28pm by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to help the woman with a suspected broken ankle.

Paramedics were with the patient but needed the mountain rescue team to move her to a waiting ambulance parked at Staindale car park in Dalby Forest.
