Police hunt for couple who failed to show up for court

Laura Susan Goldsmith, 31 and Paul Kevin Atchinson, 40,

Paul Kevin Atchinson, 40, and Laura Susan Goldsmith, 31, failed to attend court on Wednesday in connection with supplying heroin.

They are also suspects in a burglary at a shop on Somerset Terrace, Scarborough, which occurred overnight between Monday and Tuesday this week (11-12 July 2016).

The couple have connections in the Eastfield area of Scarborough, York and Leeds.

Atchinson is described as white, 6ft 2in tall, medium build, with short dark-brown hair and blue eyes. He has a large tattoo on the right side of his neck.

Goldsmith is white, 5ft 3in tall, slim build, with long dark-brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information that could help to locate Paul Atchinson and Goldsmith, is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1, and speak to the Force Control Room.
