Officers from North Yorkshire Police said this morning was "slightly unusual" as they attended two unconnected vehicle fires both within a mile of each other within the space of three hours.
The first incident was reported at 8.37am at West Heslerton. The road was closed in both directions between West Knapton and West Heslerton to allow the fire service to put out the tractor blaze.
