The Covid-19 pandemic has forced MPs to adapt to new ways of working, with many now being based at home rather than in Parliament.

Despite home working, MPs have still been claiming thousands of pounds in expenses, with Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority figures for the 2020-21 financial year showing UK MPs have claimed more than £9 million as of 6 January. The JPIMedia Data Unit has analysed the figures to find out how much has been claimed by Robert Goodwill, the Conservative MP for Scarborough and Whitby CC. Mr Goodwell has spent a total of £8,987.78 on 74 claims over the nine months. Listed are the top eight biggest claims.
