STUDENTS at Scarborough’s Yorkshire Coast College are making their way into history after an unusual world record attempt.
Hundreds of students took part in a record-breaking musical bumps challenge in the hope of getting into the Guinness Book of Records.
The youngsters, along with members of staff, gathered in anticipation on the college filed at Lady Edith’s Drive.
The previous record was for 343 people playing musical bumps at the same time, but the college managed to get over 370 people taking part.
A spokesman at the event said: “We’ve beat the previous number of people so we’re really pleased.
“It’s been a great event and hopefully the record will last for many years to come.”
