The A64 at Rillington will be closed for the next three weekends to allow resurfacing work to take place. Overnight closures on Monday to Thursday nights, between 8pm and 6am, started on Monday 14 November. Residents will be led through the roadworks by a contractor’s vehicle at reduced speed limits of 40 and 10mph.
The road will be closed in both directions between Rillington and Knapton for three weekends, from 8pm on Friday until 6am on Monday. These closures will run from Friday 25 November until Monday 28 November, Friday 2 December until Monday 5 December and from Friday 9 December until Monday 12 December. The closures are subject to reasonable weather conditions. Diversions will be in place via the A169 from Malton to Pickering then along the A170 to Scarborough.
