A Scarborough lecturer has made a real splash thanks to a swimming-based exhibition.
Rob MacKay, senior lecturer in Creative Music Technology at the University of Hull, Scarborough Campus, has taken part in Sea Swim, a project dedicated to exploring how swimming makes people feel about the environment.
Dr MacKay has been chosen as an artist in residence and will run a two-day field workshop on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 around the South Bay.
He said: “This unique project enables people to celebrate human movement and express themselves in a novel way.”
The results of Dr MacKay’s workshop will be performed on Sunday 29 July, at 4pm. The Sea Swim exhibition is at the MIMA, in Middlesbrough, between August 18 and 26.
