BREAST Cancer Campaign is urging runners in Scarborough to fight the festive flab and run for research at this year’s Virgin London Marathon.
With just four months to go until the big day on Sunday April 17, the charity wants runners with a ballot place to join the race to beat breast cancer.
Karen Lambert, events executive at Breast Cancer Campaign, said: “So far we have 80 runners who are committed to running and raising money for Breast Cancer Campaign and we’d absolutely love more people to run for us. Every day 125 people are sadly given the news they have breast cancer.’’
