BBC Radio DJ Sara Cox stopped off in Pickering via Grosmont today as part of a week-long Lottery Good Causes Tour of the UK.
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway emerged victorious in an online battle and invited Sara and comedian Rufus Hound to see how Heritage Lottery Funding has been used to fund the area.
The fun-loving duo were soon in the thick of the action, taking part in a tea-making competition in Grosmont. Sara won, and as a prize helped drive the train from Grosmont to Pickering, leaving Rufus waving her off as the train departed. The stop-off was part of their Cox and Hound camper van tour for the lottery.
