TWO pictures taken in Scarborough pubs will be part of an exhibition in London this week.
They were taken by photographer Clive Hague and feature the Newcastle Packet and The Highlander pubs.
Mr Hague said he was pleased to be included in the London exhibition. He said: “As a customer of the Highlander I have always marvelled at the fantastic collection of, I believe, over 800 whiskies on display in the bar.
“The photograph which is part of the display I thought may be of interest to the Pub Life competition, it certainly creates a lot of comment from visitors to the town.
“Its a lovely place to have a drink, a very well run pub.”
He added that the Newcastle Packet was arguably the most famous pub in Scarborough, with probably the most famous landlady, and was another example of a very well run outlet.
