Scarborough lifeboat rescues man on coble which was in danger of being blown out to sea

The lifeboat crew from Scarborough rescued a man on a fishing boat when he got into difficulties.

Scarborough RNLI's all-weather Shannon lifeboat was launched at 3.10pm on Saturday to help the man who was on a small coble which they said was in danger of being blown further out to sea.

The boat was towed back to the safety of the harbour and met by the coastguard on the north wharf.
