The visitors scored a try early on from their first attack of the match, Harry Domett ghosting through a couple of challenges to touch down between the posts and give them a 7-0 lead.

Aaron Wilson's try was then converted to make it 14-0 and when Ben Martin scored a try from a scrum, again converted, the away side were 21-0 up and seemingly coasting to the win.

The home side replied with a converted try of their own, but Paul Taylor's try secured the bonus point for Scarborough.

After the interval, Jordi Wakeham added a try to put the away side 33-7 ahead, but a couple of tries from the hosts pulled it back to 33-19.

More brilliant work by Domett saw him feed Martin for his second try of the game, scoring between the posts as Scarborough went 40-19 ahead.

The see-saw nature of the second half continued as a missed tackle allowed the hosts in to make it 40-26, only for James Perrett to put Scarborough 47-26 clear after a huge error by the home side.

Wilson then scored his second try of the game to finish off a superb move by Scarborough, and although Keighley did score another to make it 52-33 Scarborough had done enough to seal victory and with Middlesbrough winning at Heath this meant that Simon Smith's men had secured second spot in Yorkshire One.

Scarborough will now tackle the runners-up in Durham Northumberland One in a play-off for a spot in North One East.
