Scarborough's Valley Bridge closed following concern over person's safety
Valley Bridge in Scarborough has been closed following concern over the safety of a person.
Police were called out at around 2.40pm to reports of a person on the wrong side of the bridge railings.
All emergency services are at the scene in an attempt to bring the incident to a safe conclusion.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area and allow emergency services to concentrate on the safety of all involved.
