Seafront filming for dance show

BBC TV crews have been in Scarborough filming a sequence for Saturday night’s edition of So You Think You Can Dance.

The show features 29-year-old local dancer Matt Flint, who is now down to the final few left in the competition.

Matt was back in Scarborough on Sunday to film a sequence about his home town with dance partner Charlotte Scally.

The filming took place at First Catch Fish and Chips in Sandside on Sunday and will be on our screens during the 5.35pm show on BBC1 this Saturday.

Sam Corrigan, who runs the seafront business with her partner Rob Hearn, said: “It was a fantastic experience to have the film crews there with Matt and Charlotte. It’s nice to see your own town on TV and it’s brilliant to have someone from Scarborough on the show who is doing so well.”
