Two North Yorkshire branches of Yorkshire Building Society are holding days of action in support of a new three-year charity partnership with End Youth Homelessness (EYH).
The Scarborough branch is holding its first action day on Tuesday 21 February, while the Malton branch holds an action day on Tuesday 28 February.
Colleagues at the branch on Westborough will be raising funds through selling EYH trolley coin key rings, running a “give our bear a home” competition and holding a book sale.
Staff at Wheelgate, Malton, will be raising funds for EYH through colleagues challenging themselves to “live without luxuries”, where they are sponsored to give up luxury items.
Maxine Hartley, manager at the Scarborough branch, said: “We hope our customers and members of the public in Scarborough really get behind us.”
