Alan Wilson, who runs The Blue Bell Hotel and organised the event, said: “You just couldn’t believe what was going on. Arguably the biggest diva on the planet was singing in the grounds of The Blue Bell Hotel and absolutely wowed the crowd.”

On Friday night Katrina, from Katrina and the Waves, 80’s pop star Paul Young, Toploader and Kyan Blackwood performed at the village venue.

Mr Wilson said: “The crowd can get so close to the action, I think that is the key to its success. Katrina on Friday climbed down onto the ground, she stole the show on Friday.”

At the event Mr Wilson announced the latest act to be confirmed to play at The Blue Bell as magician Dynamo. The date of his performance has not yet been set.
