Two Filey ladies were invited to the special service to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Mr Barry Dodd CBE, had invited the great and good of the County, including selected 90-year-olds who had been born between the Queen’s two birthdays to the service, which was held last Sunday.

Margaret (Peggy) Greenwood and her guest Rita Dudley, and Margaret Robertshaw and her daughter Christine Harman attended the event at Ripon Cathedral.
