Linden Gray has left Beckett League club Staxton to sign for Scarborough.
Gray joins Scarborough after a successful 2016 season, scoring 226 runs and taking 31 wickets for the Premier Division runners-up.
The young spinner joins the North Marine Club alongside five other new additions ahead of the 2017 campaign.
New skipper Neil Elvidge has also brought in Thirsk CC pair Mark Cook and Kieran Fenwick.
The ex-Thirsk batsmen scored 701 and 455 runs respectively last season.
Also joining Scarborough are Flixton stalwart Nick Zakrzewski, who scored 680 runs for Flixton at an average of 42.50 in his last full season in 2015, and Wykeham’s belligerent batsman James Bryant.
Elvidge takes over for a second spell as skipper at the club, with Elliott Cooper running the second team.
