Josephine Pimm plays Anna in The Haunting of the Vaults

The Haunting of the Vaults by Paul Spencer is a site specific immersive supernatural mystery that will take place in the Market Vaults.

During the performance, the audience is encouraged to be a part of the story and watch as the spooky drama unfolds around them.

Spiritualist medium Anna believes that an apparition resides in the Vaults– and she is determined to make contact.

But in this game of fear, what other players are on the board?

Writer and director Paul Spencer said: “The Market Vaults are a great location for such a shadowy, mysterious story with their underground chambers and Old Town history. “Think of the spirit world as a great house that is dark, blue and silent. It’s all around us, occupying the same space – but we cannot see it?”

The Haunting of the Vaults’ is on Wednesday October 24, Thursday October 25, Friday October 26 and Saturday October 27 at 7pm and 8.30pm.

Co-artistic director of Beach Hut, Alison Watt said: “As an artistically led, community driven theatre company, it is our goal to develop emerging writers and directors by giving them the opportunity to present their work to an audience. “Paul has been part of Beach Hut for many years, and we are delighted that The Haunting of the Vaults is our first producing project for a member of the company.”

Deli Delicious Market Hall bar will be open and selling drinks from 6pm.

Please note this is a promenade performance. Not recommended for under 14s

Tickets con the door or from the House of Gaia, Market Vaults Unit MS3, or from Deli Delicious.
