Sports massage clinic continues to show growth

Scarborough Sports Massage Clinic is based at the top of the McBean steps on Marine Parade, beside the Grand Hotel, and sports therapist Christian Machen runs the business.

Christian is a York St John graduate in Sports Therapy (BSc Hons) and his reputation is growing due to word of mouth and positive reviews on social media websites.

He said: “By being easily accessible and based in the centre of Scarborough I find that I am supporting and working with members of our community as well as visiting tourists. I offer competitive rates and I am dedicated to providing a high level of care and professionalism in my field.”

Late last year, Christian also opened a second clinic at Fashionable Fitness Gym, Dunslow Road, Eastfield.

He said: “This allows clients from the outskirts of the town and further afield to access my services.

“In addition, the state of the art fitness equipment on hand means that I can also provide clients who are post injury or surgery or looking to improve performance with rehabilitation or strengthening programmes in the gym.”
