Students at Springhead School have been the chance to comment on plans for a new sports village in Weaponness.
The plans were brought into school by Scarborough Council’s deputy chief executive Hilary Jones.
Falsgrave ward councillor John Ritchie said the event was a great success. He added: “The students thought the plans were wonderful and they can’t wait for it to happen. It’s important to make sure the access and facilities for people with disabilities are right up there - and these students and staff are ideally placed to make some really sensible comments on that.”
