Star Wars actor Paul Blake AKA Greedo has been confirmed as one of the guest stars attending Sci Fi Scarborough on March 14-15 next year.

Mr Blake will appear on the Saturday to sign autographs and regale fans with Star Wars stories and finally tell us who really shot first from his time playing Rodian bounty hunter Greedo.

He is the third guest to confirm for the town’s very own science fiction, fantasy and comic book convention which is returning to the Spa Complex after this year’s successful event.

He will join Thunderbirds voice actor Shane Rimmer and Australian actress Virginia Hey, who is best known as Warrior Woman in Road Warrior/Mad Max 2, Bond girl Rubivich in The Living Daylights, Leigh Templar in Prisoner Cellblock H as and the blue priestess Zhaan in Farscape.

Mr Blake’s recent appearances range from London’s West End in The Brothers Karamazov, Knuckle and Vanity to fringe performances in almost every London Venue.

In Europe and Asia he has been in many projects ranging from the title role in Macbeth and Vladimir in Waiting For Godot to Charles Swann in Marcel Proust’s A La Recherche du Temps Perdu.

Event co-organiser Steve Dickinson said: “We are very excited about Paul Blake joining the line-up for SFS - finally we can get some closure on if Han really did shoot first!

“We are working hard to bring in more guests from Star Wars and other popular sci-fi shows, and hope to have something for everyone when next March arrives.”
