Game of Thrones swordmaster Syrio Forel is coming to the Sci-Fi Scarborough festival, organisers have announced.

He is the third and final guest to be revealed for the ‘Throne Sunday’ line-up (April 10) for all the Game Of Thrones fans at SFS 2016.

Miltos Yerolemou played the massively popular swordmaster Syrio Forel in the HBO series and was recently in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in the bar scene. He also stars as Dr Mai in the film The Danish Girl.

He will be bringing his wealth of sword fighting history and knowledge to the event and will also be doing workshops.

“He’s a fantastic final piece in the Game of Thrones jigsaw for us. The Sunday-only line-up is really strong now and the fact that Miltos can not only can teach attendees the way of the sword but probably let slip background nuggets of information on Star Wars is brilliant,” said co-organiser Steve Dickinson.

The sword fighting masterclass is 90 minutes long and limited to 30 people of all ages. It costs £25 per person inclusive of signature on Con safe weapon. Bookings can be made by emailing and are strictly on a first come first served basis. All ages and experience are welcome and he has also taught wheelchair bound and blind pupils so no-one should feel they can’t wield a sword.

Fans can sign up to the Comlink mailing list service so they can receive the latest updates, announcements, competitions and more by simply visiting and signing up.
