Six points in two games was exactly what we wanted at this stage of the season.
And the wins against Glossop on Saturday and Ramsbottom on Tuesday night provided us with exactly that.
Our performances in both games were excellent, but against Ramsbottom on Tuesday, I thought we were outstanding.
We can’t get carried away with things though, it is my job to keep everyone’s feet on the ground, but at the same time we have to stay positive.
It comes down to the old cliche, we have to take each game as it comes and not look any further ahead.
We have to get the right game plan, which will allow us to go out there and pick up the points that we need.
There is still a lot of football to be played and in that time a lot can happen.
We know that we are not there yet, but it is up to us to make sure that we keep collecting the points that can help to shove us further towards the play-off places.
