Final preparations are under way for Saint Catherine’s glamorous ball, celebrating 30 years of hospice care.
Tickets are still available for the event, one of the highlights of a summer of celebrations, to be held at Scarborough Spa on Saturday June 20.
Carolyn Jackson, fundraising manager, said: “It’s going to be a wonderful night with good food, dancing to live music, and a chance to go home with some fabulous gifts from our luxury raffle and tombola.”
Tickets are £60 and are available by calling (01723) 378406 or via the hospice’s online shop at www.stcatherineshospice-nyorks.org
The black-tie event is sponsored by Deep Sea Electronics, chartered accountants Lloyd Dowson, Bluefin insurance services and Adverset media solutions.
It includes a drinks reception featuring classical and electric violinist Kate Chruscicka, dancing to music by All Night Long, Spectrum Disco and a midnight breakfast.
Saint Catherine’s has helped around 30,000 patients and their families since it opened in 1985.
It now provides services to more than 2,000 patients every year over a huge area which encompasses Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Ryedale, Bridlington and Driffield.
