STAFF at a Scarborough clothes shop raised money for a cancer charity with an in-store fun day.
Staff members at Bonmarche in Westborough dressed up in green - the signature colour of Macmillan Cancer Support - and invited shoppers to take part in a raffle.
In total, £58 was raised on the day for the charity.
Store manager Jan Marsh said: “We raise money for the charity all year round but we wanted to give it a bit of an extra boost.
“We had a really good response. Some people didn’t even have a go on the raffle but donated anyway.
“Fun was had by everyone, including the customers. We would like to thank everyone involved.
“Macmillan Cancer Support is a very worthy charity and helps an awful lot of people.”
Jan added that the store is offering coat hangers to anyone who goes into the store and makes a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.
The winner of the raffle, which is yet to be chosen, will win a £10 voucher for Bonmarche.
