A leading Scarborough clothing store is lending its support to armed forces charity Help for Heroes.
Bon Marche is selling wrist bands bearing the charity’s name to help raise money for it.
The bands, which cost £2, have been on sale since the beginning of the month and it is part of the national chain’s attempt to raise £10,000 for the charity by Christmas.
Store manager Jan Marsh said: “Help for Heroes is such a good charity we wanted to do something to help. Our customers and staff are always very supportive of our charitable efforts and I hope they will help us with this one.”
