Students take up politics
Scalby School Year 10 students Kitty Jackson and Alex Wright have begun forging their political careers.
Kitty has been elected as a member of the UK Youth Parliament, representing North Yorkshire East, while Alex has been elected as her deputy.
Mrs Vickers, who runs Student Voice at the school, said: “We are absolutely delighted for Kitty and Alex. Being part of the UK Youth Parliament is such a wonderful opportunity for them both.”
