There will be refreshments available on the day along with a raffle/tombola to win some excellent prizes.

A spokesman for the Yorkshire and Around Photographic Group said: “The exhibition is to show the public that taking photographs is not just for professionals, you too can have fun doing it even with a point and shoot, a bridge camera, or the world’s most expensive camera – any person can take a great shot.

“The members who are attending the exhibition are from all walks of life, none are professional photographers.

“As a group we try to meet at least once a month on a weekend (weather permitting) so we can take in the views, have a nice walk about, have a good natter and take a few photos.

“Each meeting is at a different place of interest.”
