Newlands earned a 2-1 win at a depleted Ayton in the Scarborough Sunday League first division on Tuesday night.
Ryan Rivis and teenager Tyler Beck notched for the visitors in the first half.
Ayton pulled a goal back through Chrissy Hannam after the interval.
