Firefighters had to cut a teenager out of a car following a crash that closed down North Marine Road.
The 15-year-old was taken to hospital on a spinal board, although police say her injuries are not thought to be serious.
She was one of four people - including three teenagers - rushed to Scarborough Hospital after the two vehicle crash, which happened at around 8.50pm on Thursday night.
The teenager was a passenger in a Clio driven by an 18-year-old woman, who suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The other car, an Audi, was driven by a 43-year-old man and his passenger a 17-year-old male, were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The incident happened near the bowls centre, and witnesses claim as many as six police cars were at the scene.
The road was closed for almost two hours, with glass covering the road and both vehicles sustaining major damage.
