Three cut off by tide in Staithes, near Whitby
Lifeboat volunteers were called out to help three people cut off by the tide at Staithes.
The team from Staithes and Runswick RNLI were deployed at 4.10pm on Saturday.
The crew escorted the trio to the safety of the South Pier and a waiting lifeboat then took them to the lifeboat station.
