These are all the roadworks taking place in Scarborough in the next two months

Some mean road closures, and others will be navigated with temporary traffic lights, but North Yorkshire County Council's website advise all are likely to lead to disruption for drivers. North Yorkshire County Council are completing junction improvement works from September 9 to December 16. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.

North Yorkshire County Council are completing essential highway maintenance from September 18-20. A road closure will be in place.
Northern Gas Network are laying new mains pipe between September 23 and September 30. A road closure will be in place.
BT will be installing a new pole from September 24-25. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.
Northern Powergrid will be installing a new connection from October 14-18. There will be a road closure in place.
BT are installing pipeline in the carriageway from September 16 to 20. A road closure will be in place.
Yorkshire Water are providing and fixing a new cover on September 23. Traffic will be running contraflow.
Yorkshire Water are repairing the sewer from September 16-20. A road closure will be in place.
Northern Powergrid are installing a new electricity connection until September 27. Temporary lights will be in place.
Yorkshire Water and North Yorkshire County Council are completing works to renew the sewer main. Different parts of the road will be affected from September 26 to February 2020. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.
They continue to be closed until June 2020. North Yorkshire County Council have closed the roads due to the condition of the footway and carriageway, and slope stability.
Yorkshire Water are installing a new water supply from September 23-27. Temporary lights will be in place.
North Yorkshire County Council are completing junction improvement works from October 10 to December 16. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.
North Yorkshire County Council are completing pavement upgrade works until October 9. A road closure is in place.
Northern Powergrid are replacing a link box from September 23 to October 1. Temporary lights will be in place.
Until November 30, North Yorkshire County Council have closed a lane to allow the space required for cliff stabilisation works.
Until December 12, the county council have suspended parking between Albion Road and Prince of Wales Terrace and traffic is one way southbound between Albion Road and Esplanade Gardens.
North Yorkshire County Council are upgrading the signals from September 30 to November 30. There will be a lane closure in place.
Northern Powergrid are installing a new electricity connection from October 7-11. A road closure will be in place.
Independent Fibre Networks are installing new cable from September 9 - 21. Temporary lights will be in place.
Yorkshire Water are disconnecting an existing supply from October1-2. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.
Yorkshire are installing a new water supply from October 21-24. A road closure will be in place.
