Planned road closure in Scarborough next week for police investigation into fatal collision

North Yorkshire Police are planning on closing a road in Scarborough next week as part of an ongoing investigation into a fatal collision.

On Wednesday March 25 March the force is planning on closing Stepney Road between the Crown Tavern and Sixth Form College roundabouts.

The closure is expected to last from 7pm-9pm, although these times are subject to change.

Access will be maintained where possible for residents but there may be short delays.

All other traffic should divert via Scalby Road and Stepney Avenue.

Pedestrian access will also be limited, with no access to the section of footpath between the Park Avenue and Whin Bank junctions.

The force ask the public to avoid the area during those times and thank them in advance for your patience.
