An articulated lorry loaded with cauliflowers overturned on Scotch Corner roundabout on the A1 near Richmond at 5.20am, scattering its load all over the road.

The driver was not hurt and there was minimal congestion.

There was no offence, so police didn't need to take down the veg number.

The road was covered in caulis.
