The search has ended for volunteers needed to help with a tree planting ceremony to commemorate 100 years of the Girl Guide Movement.
An appeal was made asking for more volunteers but organisers have now stressed that they already have enough people to help with the ceremony.
The event, which was due to be held before Christmas but was cancelled because of bad weather, is being held at Raincliffe Woods tomorrow.
A spokesman said: “We will have the help of the Friends of Raincliffe Woods, conservation volunteers and the leaders coming with the girls, and we are only planting 30 trees, so no more assistance will be needed.”
She added there were also concerns over the lack of parking spaces available if more volunteers turned up on the day.
