Sisters Alexene Nellist, 32, and Ashleigh Nellist, 28, and friend Kim Shepherd, 31, have been fundraising for Sport Relief for years.
They have already raised more than £1,000 which means the trio have reached a grand total of £10,000, starting with Ashleigh’s 12 hour baked bean bath, to the trio taking on a Coast to Coast challenge.
The group were invited to a thank you reception at Downing Street hosted by Samantha Cameron for their fundraising.
They travelled up to Edinburgh on Sunday and set off on the gruelling challenge from the castle to Scarborough Castle they are due to arrive at around 5pm on Tuesday May 24.

Alexene Nellist said: “We are not sporty people, but we thought walking is an easy sport to tackle. I don’t think we realised how much it puts your body and your mind through.
“It averages out to walking about a marathon a day for nine days. It’s going to be exciting, but definitely challenging.”
They want to thank everyone who has supported them throughout their challenges.
