Thursday evenings will continue to be the centrepiece to the orchestra’s week with gala night. Guest vocalists will be at the heart of these performances.

The Teddy Bears’ Picnics will replace the usual Monday morning concerts from July 4 to August 29. Hosted by Kathy Seabrook, these performances introduce youngsters to the magic of music and how the instruments work. There’s plenty of audience participation in these sessions.

The Sunday morning concerts will have a small twist, with a ‘pay what you think’ scheme in place. As the name suggests, guests can pay what they think – with contributions going to assist the continued support of the orchestra.

A key alteration to this year’s programming is the return of the Sunday afternoon concert, which will be a welcomed addition. Day visitors will now be able to enjoy two performances on the same day.
